Without forgetting that it is less than two hours away from London, and only one hour from the Eurotunnel. This cottage, which is in the heart of the village of Staplecross will be a home from home for you and family (animals included) and we will ensure that your stay will be as pleasant as possible. |

| Going through the porch area you will enter into the large living room with its working Inglenook fire place, then through to family size kitchen/dinning area with all modern facilities. The back porch overlooks a good size patio area and a secluded and sunny L shaped garden. Upstairs consists of a large double bedroom , with built in wardrobes , a twin bedroom (all the bedding and towels for all our guests are included) and a large bathroom. The whole cottage benefits from Gas Central Heating and is warm and comfortable even when it is cold outside. The front garden has a gravelled area which is ideal for parking your car. A very brief history of Mill Cottage : The cottage was originally built to lodge mill workmen and their families, at the turn of the 19 th Century. It was built as a two up and two down dwelling to host at least two families. The cottage is built on a wooden frame at the front, with typical Kent weatherboarding, and bricks at the back.
